During the 2022 American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting & Exposition, CiTRUS Health Group wanted to provide key insights on landmark trial results in hematology and their relevance to the therapeutic landscape. They came to me unsure of what hot topics would be at the congress, so we talked through ideas and I proposed a summary on stem cell transplantation and connected with the primary investigator of the late-breaking abstract on the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT CTN) 1703 study. The resulting blog post helps them to demonstrate to their client base they have a deep understanding of the stem cell transplant landscape and helped them to solidify a plan to develop content based on future medical congresses.
Pharmacy Times came to me for a white paper. They wanted to make sure pharmaceutical companies that were funding continuing education understood that oncology pharmacists serve in various capacities and have different types of educational needs. The client was extremely happy with the paper, which helps them educate decision-makers who are funding educational opportunities.
CiTRUS Health Group wanted to provide healthcare professionals with timely, evidence-based information on the development and available body of evidence supporting the use of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) in the treatment of diffuse large b-cell lymphoma. They asked me to write an up-to-date review article on the topic and were very pleased with how I articulated the role of ADCs in this rapidly evolving treatment landscape.
My colleagues at Mayo Clinic and I were interested in learning more about burnout in oncology pharmacy. I led a team of pharmacists working with a physician thought leader on burnout that distributed a survey to more than 3000 oncology pharmacists. The results were published in JCO® Oncology Practice in 2022 and have already been cited multiple times.
